Here is a summary of the FOAM Officer's meeting held at Edgar's on Monday May 14th:

Congratulations to Jim & Les for winning the DC Chili Cookoff!

We have 66 paid members so far.

No decision was made on the next Guess that Beer competition. We might have one in June.

June 9th is the Guild Picnic. Note that the location has changed since last time. There will be a wheat beer competition.

The Comedy Festival at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre will be on the weekend of July 14 &15 and July 21 & 22. FOAM may host a Beer Reception after the performance on Saturday July 21.

Happy hour this Thursday the 17th at Old Town Tavern on Market Street.

Next happy hour will be at Hennings on June 21st.

Next FOAM Officers meeting will be at Lou King's on June 18th.

The July FOAM officers meeting will be at Dave Justice's house on Tuesday July 17th.

The FOAM Pool Party will be at Travelin' Dave's on July 14th.

August 17-19 is the date of the 2007 BURP MASHOUT.

We still need to arrange a Pub Crawl, possibly in August.

We also need to talk to Bob about any possible conflicts for the FOAM meeting in September.

Saturday, September 8th is the due date for entries in the Great Frederick Fair beer competition. You have to have your entries in on Saturday so that the judging can take place on Sunday by noon.

Edgar suggested we should try to get new members involved in officers meetings and events.

We should check with the Schifferstadt people to find out if anyone has done anything about the overgrowth of our hops. If not, I (Terry) can do it.
